That time of year again where we say “Where has the year gone?”
Michael Bublé is defrosting and Mariah Carey is warming up the vocal cords.
It’s been a whirlwind few months for myself, with 3 weeks in Paris for the Olympic Games, speeches and comedy gigs.
Last Friday, I returned to my former secondary school to talk to the year 11 students about mens health, writing and careers in sport. It was the 2pm-3pm lesson on a Friday afternoon. The graveyard shift. A tough crowd some would say, but I took as much away from that talk as the students did.
This month I will be doing stand-up comedy in Bournemouth and Maidenhead, as well as an hours talk at the Bristol Literary Festival. Tickets here.
Trekstock Talks…
I’ve also hosted more talks for the fantastic charity, Trekstock in Birmingham and across London. Next month I will be hosting two story development sessions online. Talking to groups of 200-400 people it’s been fantastic to share the experience and have such great feedback.
